Völlig überraschend und viel zu früh verstarb vorgestern mein guter Parteifreund und ehemaliger Fraktionskollege Thomas Jung im Alter von nur 64 Jahren. Thomas Jung war von 2014 bis 2019 Abgeordneter im Landtag Brandenburg und bildete gemeinsam mit Andreas Kalbitz, Birgit Bessin und mir den Fraktionsvorstand. Als engagiertes Mitglied der ersten Stunde hat Thomas Jung die AfD-Brandenburg mit aufgebaut und war unter anderem ein geschätztes Mitglied in unserem Landesvorstand. Trotz linksextremistischer Übergriffe auf sein Wohnhaus sowie die Bedrohung seiner Familie, stand Thomas Jung stets zu den Zielen und Idealen der AfD. Lieber Thomas, ich bedanke mich für die vielen schönen gemeinsamen Stunden, die vielen positiven Erinnerungen sowie Dein aufopferungsvolles Engagement für unsere Alternative für Deutschland. Deiner Familie gilt in diesen schweren Tagen mein aufrichtiges Mitgefühl.
