Lebensmittel- und Bauernverbände prognostizieren, dass Deutschland durch den Ausfall der Ukraine und Russlands als Getreideexporteur nicht nur hohe Preissteigerungen zu erwarten hat, sondern sogar einen Nahrungsmittelnotstand. Stiegen die Preise für Nahrungsmittel sowie Tabakwaren zuletzt um 56,8 Prozent, wird in den nächsten drei Wochen eine Preissteigerung um weitere 78,6 Prozent erwartet! Wie sollen sich die Millionen Geringverdiener im Land das noch leisten können?
Skandalös ist, dass diese Preissteigerungen zum großen Teil hausgemacht sind. So ist Deutschland eigentlich in der Lage, sich selbst zu versorgen. Jedoch ernten wir jetzt die Früchte der ideologischen und rückwärtsgewandten Politik der vergangenen Jahrzehnte. Wir leiden auf allen Ebenen unter einem Rohstoff- und Ersatzteilmangel, sind abhängig vom Import russischer Energieträger und zukünftig wohl auch von Nahrungsmitteln. Zudem erfahren unsere Landwirte gravierendste Wettbewerbsnachteile durch die geltende Düngemittel-Verordnung.
Aber die grüne Landwirtschaftspolitik der vergangenen Jahre hat nicht nur einen Mangel an Stickstoffdünger zur Folge, sondern ist auch dafür verantwortlich, dass 20 Prozent unserer Anbauflächen lediglich „biologisch bewirtschaftet“ werden, weitere 10 Prozent als „ökologisches Brachland“ stillgelegt wurden. Zusätzlich drohen in den östlichen Landesteilen aufgrund der Trockenheit auch noch empfindliche Ernteausfälle.
Wie auch bereits auf dem Energiesektor, sollen andere europäische Länder uns auch mit Nahrungsmitteln aushelfen. Dies ist nicht nur teuer, im Notfall müssen wir uns zudem darauf verlassen, dass genügend Lebensmittel nach Deutschland exportiert werden. Ungarn hat aber bereits erklärt, dass es Nahrungsmittel nur dann exportieren werde, nachdem der einheimische Markt abgedeckt ist. Andere europäische Länder werden vermutlich ähnlich handeln.
Das Volk muss am Ende die Rechnung zahlen, wie immer. Protest leider fast sinnlos, in einer Zeit, in der Spaziergänger ganz schnell zum Querdenker, Schwurbler oder Nazi umetikettiert werden.
