Medienberichten zufolge soll sich der Bundesrat in der kommenden Woche mit der Einführung einer Kriegssteuer, der sogenannten kriegs- und krisenbedingten Abgabe auf Unternehmensgewinne, befassen. Mit dieser Steuer sollen Gewinne, die Konzerne durch den Krieg in der Ukraine erzielen, „abgeschöpft“ werden. Die Abgabe soll „zunächst“ nur für 2022 erhoben werden. Deutschland befindet sich aber nicht im Krieg mit Russland, die Steuer kann somit keine Kriegssteuer sein. Vielmehr trifft die Bundesregierung mit den Sanktionen nun das eigene Volk und lässt dieses für die verfehlte Außenpolitik zahlen!
Es sollte unstrittig sein, dass es vorrangig Rüstungsunternehmen sind, die an den von der Bundesregierung beschlossenen Waffenlieferungen profitieren. Aber auch andere Unternehmen, wie unsere Mineralölkonzerne, haben in den letzten 100 Tagen auf Kosten der Verbraucher hohe Gewinne erzielt. Es sollte jedem klar sein, dass die kommende Kriegssteuer mit großer Wahrscheinlichkeit auf die Konsumenten abgewälzt und die Inflation somit noch weiter befeuert wird. Die Kosten für Lebensmittel, Heizöl und Treibstoffe sowie andere Güter des täglichen Gebrauchs werden demnach mit sehr großer Wahrscheinlichkeit weiter stark ansteigen, die Bürger finanziell noch stärker ausbluten. Sieht so eine gute, an den Bedürfnissen des Volkes orientierte Politik aus?
